I am now imagining a randomized version where you have to hover over vatican city and the only thing you can make out is a white horizontal stripe

Of course it’s a SpiritOfFire quiz. Amazing, and even more wonderful that it works on mobile. Took a little too long on identifying and hovering on Hungary, which caused me to miss the last answer.

Very interesting concept with near perfect execution. Although one problem about this is that it took me a little bit to tell what flag was on Japan because it's just so skinny. Really great quiz though, take my nomination!

Great quiz, nominated! It would be nice to have Hawaii and Alaska included when the flag for the US is revealed, and Tasmania when Australia's flag is revealed. Might not be possible though...?

Thanks. I feel that including Hawaii and Alaska would spread the flag out too much, but I suppose I could include Tasmania. However, I'm not sure when I would get around to it.

Panicked when I got to Singapore because I didn't realize it was the last answer and was thinking "How the hell am I going to make out the flag inside of that??"

I don't know how difficult it is to do this, but lowkey bothers me that Alaska/Hawaii don't highlight with the rest of the US or Tasmania with the rest of Australia

On my first attempt, the USA flag completely filled the screen and I typed USA (as instructed). The USA flag shrank into the lower left corner and I hovered over the US on the map. So far, so good. I expected another flag to completely fill the screen, but it did not. I failed to notice that the red, white and blue colors that had appeared within the borders of the US on the map were actually part of a flag. I was waiting for a giant flag to appear and when it did not I dismissed this quiz as not working.

As a favor to those of us as clueless as I was, I would like to suggest that you modify step 3 of the instructions so that it reads something like this: "Locate the country on the map, hover over it with your mouse for 1 second, and another flag will appear within the country you're hovering over."

Thanks, having finally figured out how to play, I enjoyed this quiz!

I zoomed in on the top half of Argentina and I guessed Poland, Indonesia, and then Monaco, I was so confused, but I zoomed back out and got 1 minute.
