I made an SVG with the flags on different layers in Inkscape, then used CSS to make the flags disappear when guessed.

When I tried to play it the flags I got correct would disappear and be replaced with random colors

When you guess a flag correctly, it will disappear and reveal a quarter of the flag behind it, hence the random colours.

The last “flag” is all white, the joke being the white flag and France are linked because of them surrendering during world wars
