Updates as of February 2023 (aftter 3 years).

- there have been some interesting significant swings in the percentage with some countries going up or down by about 20 places, but the countries themselves stayed mostly the same

- only 2 new countries with alarmingly rising levels of poverty appeared on the list

- few countries made significant contribution in the reduction of poverty and dropped off

- the list was reduced to include only 34 countries (there is a big gap between 34th and 35th place)

- there no longer available any data for North Korea
