Nitpicking here, but Shanghai (and Beijing/Guangzhou/Tianjin) isn't a province - it's called a Municipality Nice quiz though - these map quizzes are getting better and better.
tbh Kailash and especially Tianzi could be replaced with more significant ones, especially as so few people are getting them rn? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacred_Mountains_of_China Taishan (the one from which lots of emigrants came from), Shaoshan (Mao's birthplace) and Longmen could be ideas too
Kailash is extremely important in both Buddhism and Hinduism and deserves to be here. Tianzi is niche but a tourist spot nontheless, so I'm keeping both. And places such as Shaoshan are quite obscure unless you are very familiar with Mao Zedong.
Tianzi is a tourist spot, but you are wildly incorrect with your placement. It's in Hunan province, between Changsha and Chongqing. You have it somewhere in Guangxi.
Similarly you've mistaken the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts.
Hey man. I want to create this type of quiz on another country. I want to learn how to do this kind of map, highlighting mountain regions and rivers etc. Can I contact you about it?
Great quiz, love the map! One small detail that could be fixed: Tianzi is located too far south on this map from its actual location. It’s very close to Zhangjiajie near Hubei and the Yangtze.
I want to update all my quizzes in this series, but it takes a long time to do so since I am hoping to make the map look better. The Gobi desert is mostly in the right placement, just that I drew it too big, I believe.
China has 4 Municipality,Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjing and Chongqing.
No.
Similarly you've mistaken the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts.
