You will be shown 10 random numbers between 1 and 100 without knowing what's next. Your task is to put them in order! But beware, if a number cannot be placed, the quiz ends...
Uh the uk and Great Britain are different things can you not accept uk for Great Britain please I know this comment is going to get buried but it’s worth saying
Ha, did the same, tried Isle of Dogs and then couldn't think of any other islands in London. Didn't think of the whole country being an island.
Maybe the picture could be better, like a pic of the queen or a cup of tea or something, the Underground makes me think specifically of London not the UK.
Great quiz. A lot of small extra steps needed. I beat my head against the table figuring out what mountain that could be since my first answer didn't take.
Could you include United Kingdom/UK as additional answers for Great Britain? That will make it consistent with the other geography quizzes on this site. Nice quiz! I liked the picture choices. :)
The United Kingdom/UK is not synonymous with Great Britain. The UK includes Northern Ireland and several smaller surrounding islands. Great Britain is just the island that contains England, Scotland, and Wales.
Design reminiscent of French Colonial architecture. Directly adjacent to slums. Looks like Haiti to me, and I didn't even notice the roof was caved in until Jiaozira pointed that out.
Life would suck if Tasmanian Devils became an invasive species and they were as common as pigeons or squirrels.
Jamaica has a really cool flag.
Alcatraz needs to be reopened as a prison because the idea of having a penal institution on an island within sight of San Francisco is slightly awesome.
"Great British Isles" isn't something I have ever heard of before. The archipelago I believe you are talking about are commonly referred to as several names, including the British Isles or the British-Irish Isles. The Irish and UK governments call them "these isles" in any documents that they create jointly (like the Good Friday Agreement).
There is also the term "British Islands" is different again - it's the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
Your suggestion is a plural name ("Isles") when the quiz is asking for answers that are single islands. Besides, there's no such thing called Great British Isles, never heard/seen that before reading this.
Loved the quiz! I would love it if the "World Islands" or "Palm Jebel Ali" from the United Arab Emirates were included. They are beautiful man-made islands and they aren't hard to recognize.
“Beautiful” is the last thing that comes to mind when I see the artificial islands off Dubai. Ecological disasters, economical flops, urban design nightmares, and the palm islands don't even look like palms!
'Hawaii' is just as correct as an Anglicism. The symbol inbetween the i's looks like an apostrophe, but it is actually a seperate symbol which isn't used in English.
Would be much better, if we could not guess randomly for all pictures, but only the specific choice, we marked. It is easy to get a couple by mistake while guessing another picture.
This is silly. It's not a base for pirates, though Somali pirates occasionally fuel in the seas nearby, and it doesn't have notably more venomous species than most other very hot places.
Ok, but the central city, including the part shown on the photo, is on the island. Yes there's lots of green in the mountainous centre, but "downtown" Hong Kong is on the island (of Hong Kong).
The original British colony was just the island; the rest of the colony grew out from there with the New Territories (the mainland part) annexed later.
Nice, tricky reset, took a while on Hispaniola but ultimately got 19/20, only missing North Island. Based on how blue the water is I was cycling through tropical places like Borneo and Java haha
Apart from the photo being out of date which I don't think is really an issue I struggle to see what alternative people could nominate? Hobbiton maybe or Rotorua but then people would complain NZ is more than one island.
Auckland is not an island, and contains many islands, none of which are called the North Island. There is no way that any one who knows New Zealand would see this clue and think of the North Island. Auckland is a city, and does not represent the whole North Island.
London and Havana aren't islands either, the point isn't to show pictures of islands, it's to guess which island is associated with the picture. There's meant to be some guesswork. I don't think it's misleading, I think people don't recognise the skyline of Auckland all that well.
The blue and white church in Oia, Santorini is pretty famous and shows up in a lot of tourism adverts. That's why I feel that it is fair game, despite being a smaller island.
Yes it is an extremely famous view. Personally I had no idea what island it was on though, but seeing the answer I know I have heard it before, I just never seem to store this particular piece of information. Make this time :) making a comment about things seem to help solidifying it.
Which is wrong
Maybe the picture could be better, like a pic of the queen or a cup of tea or something, the Underground makes me think specifically of London not the UK.
"Original": Also incorrect. The Dutch called it Easter Island upon encountering it in 1722. It wasn't called Rapa Nui until the 1860s.

the bronx is on the mainland part of new york
queens and brooklyn are on long island
manhattan and staten island are on their own islands
