The ban against Green Eggs and Ham was lifted in 1991. Also, not all celebrities are banned, only specific ones such as Brad Pitt for starring in Seven Years in Tibet.

This is pure nonsense. As a Chinese, I have played online mobile games with my friend in military; there are many celebrities in China; jasmine tea is a common drink; Alice in Wonderland is a well-known fairy tale; Avatar was released in China normally. Maybe you want to spread rumors, but at least make it clear where you heard it from.
