Same here! I just blinked and my eyes totally missed Dutch, otherwise I wouldn't have considered Telugu. I really like this new Sudden Death format :)

I took this quiz again and somehow managed to click Telugu again. But this time it was an accident I swear! Thankfully I still had 1 life left to finish the quiz with.

Ah I didn't know that Dravidian languages were separate from Indo-Europeans... Also I thought Maltese were more Italian oriented than Arabic.

Dravidian languages have their own long history. And are quite incomprehensible to Indo-European speakers. Though the Dravidian languages of Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam have borrowed a lot from Sanskrit, but their accent and grammar mean they aren't understandable to IE speakers.

As for maltese, I was just there and they use a lot of Italian words, but the grammar and the way they use the words is purely Arabic! Fascinating place and friendly people
