Pokémon Evolution Trees

For each tree, name a Pokémon that fits in one of the circles. E.g. a single circle with no connections would be a Pokémon like Ditto or Torkoal.
Regional forms are in green, male forms are in blue and female forms are in red
Mega evolutions and other alternate forms are excluded

I'm not sure I've ever seen a quiz where one answer is so ubiquitously easy and everything else is a decent challenge haha (although I'm sure it's also influenced by the thumbnail)

Great quiz, really gets your mind working to think of all the split evolutions! Just wanted to ask if Basculin could be considered a viable answer for the 4th row, left column, given its 'Hisuian' form evolving into Basculegion?

Thanks! I will consider it, but as it's officially the White Stripe form I'll only add it if there's a more worthwhile update as it would reset the stats

Gardevoir can be male or female.

This tripped me up as well. I was expecting to see a tree ending in two males and a female.

Kirlia remains neutral because it can still be either gender, only Gardevoir needed changing

Aha, I did learn this at some point but my initial assumption keeps reasserting itself in my head. Fixed!

Isn't Slowpoke a good answer for the first one? I can't seem to find the difference between Slowpoke and Clamperl in this matter. They both have two different evolutions right? And even though they weren't introduced in the same gen, that's the same for Scynther right? Could you explain to me why it doesn't work?

Otherwise great concept. I'd love to traduce it in french if you're okay with it.

Slowpoke is the answer for another question though, it also has the Galarian forms.

Yep this is the reason, when including Galarian forms Slowpoke no longer fits the first pattern

Because I have specified that red and blue circles are gendered, I guess I am by proxy saying that white circles must be able to be either gender (or maybe in some cases genderless, not sure). So bc Mothim and Wormadam can only be one gender, they cannot fit into the white circles

Great idea, you could have added regular evolutionary lines like Pokémon that simply evolve once or twice or don't evolve at all. Plus Nincada could be separate from the 3 others since it doesn't evolve into one or another

Thanks, yeah I guess it just feels like it doesn't add very much of a knowledge check haha (but adding easier answers doesn't hurt when it's a quiz this hard). Good Nincada shout, I'll probably end up separating it at some point
