Cool quiz, though the Bali myna (as its name suggests) is only found on the Indonesian island of Bali. Similarly, Mandarin ducks are only native to East Asia (and introduced to some parts of Europe), and though rare vagrants to India, aren't considered Indian birds.

Pacific reef-herons ARE native to India's Andaman and Nicobar Islands, but that's a quirk in their otherwise strictly Oceanian and Southeast Asian range. Optional, but in that case it might be better to choose a bird endemic to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands so people would recognize it better.

On another note, I think it would be better to be more consistent with the specificity on the answers - for most it requires the specific species name, while for some a generic answer is accepted and the full name isn't accepted.

Finally, the photo marked "rose-ringed parakeet" is actually an Alexandrine parakeet.
