So I came up with this idea because I suddenly thought: which country is the most hated in general (in 2024), and why? Click here to get a clear explanation of why these specific countries are hated so much, after you have taken the quiz :)
I think that's because the Western world thinks that there are bad leaders in Asia with a lot of corruption. Which may also be true for some Asian countries.
some countries are hated by people because they are against NATO. I personally do not blindly believe in what others say and China and Japan are some of the better countries. India and Pakistan are hated because they're portrayed on television as Third World, highly backward countries. Syria, Iran, and Iraq are perceived by NATO as enemies. Personally, I don't believe it's possible to have enemies you don't even know, which is why I think it's stupid that nations only hate each other because of stupid leaders.
Frankly, I completely agree with you. But the reason for example Israel is currently hated is because the right-wing government (particularly Benjamin Netanyahu) is in power and has made terrible choices regarding its own people and the foreign representation of the State of Israel (think for example of the attack on innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank).
And speaking of Syria: since there has been no Ba'athist regime for almost a year, the Western world sees Syria differently than before (1963 - 2024). The Western world is giving the new Syrian Republic a new chance to exist (with the exception of the United States and Israel, which still support Kurdish terrorist factions in the northeastern part of Syria).
