I've never heard of a peninsula called Italy, only the Apennine Peninsula. Kamchatka and Yucatan should make the list also?

Seem to be missing a few. What about Kamchatka or Anatolia?

Please accept "Balkan" or "Balkan Peninsula" for "The Balkans. Also, as was already pointed out, it seems to be missing Kamchatka, Yucatan, and Anatolia.

I think you should re check the area of the Scandinavian penninsula. Norway alone is 385 203 km2.
