Schnapps is a pretty common drink. I think you are according the Big Bang Theory a lot more esteem than it warrants.

This would be a bit harder if the answers weren't arranged in sets of three -- I was able to get the one I'd never heard of just because of the pattern.

I hate it too, It is based on anise and has star anise, fennel and cilantro aswell. I detest anything with anise but the other ingredients might not help either.

My father used to love the stuff though and wierdly/interestingly he loves everything with anise in it, he used to have some sort of tablets with anise taste... ah found them > Used to make anisemilk

Apparently to dissolve in milk... sooo gross.

I usually hate anise, but very strangely, I like a good ouzo! It has to be a good one (preferrably from Plomari), and the trick is to drink it with a lot of ice cubes but without water.

Escudo may need to be clarified as a person could formerly spend the currency in Portugal and currently drink the popular beer in Chile.

14/15 on first try. Only one I got wrong was Guaraní. Got it mixed up with Guaraná, which was a soda I had when I was in Brazil.
