A few look familiar, but I knew only one (got 2). Pretty tough!
Btw it is interesting to see which countries have mottos (not on flags necessarily.). You can see here map of state mottos. It seems mainly Slavic countries do not have them, as well as many Mediterranean countries and the west coast of South-America.
The map only shows official state mottos btw, that is why for instance the UK is not shown. Its motto is the sovereign's motto.
