This would seem to include marine territory. Unfortunately, this makes the 95% distinction incorrect since there would be vast amounts of "untouched" territory in international waters. Mainstream journalism, amirite?

This source was from 7 years ago, which didn't help a lot either. I would presume that water pollution might play a factor, but no guarantees.

Kiribati is quite obviously included for marine territory, which covers a vast expanses of sea waters, so I don't know for sure.
