50 Countries of the World: Population (2025)

Guess the populations of these 50 major countries from around the world. These 50 countries were chosen from the top 50 countries on a list, ordered by their nominal GDP. In that sense, they are bound to be "major" countries of the world. Guess the most recently recorded official estimates of these countries to the nearest million, or, in cases where a country's population is less than 100 million, to the nearest half million. The data comes from each country's official census records, or official mid-year estimates for the year 2025. In some cases, the records show 2022, 2023, or 2024 data, relying on previous census data, as the country does not report mid-year estimates.
