Pick any 1 square. Look at the squares north, south, east & west of that square. If any of those squares contain an arrow that's pointing at the square you chose, then click on your selected square, since it has at least 1 arrow pointing to it.
If none of those 4 bordering squares contains an arrow that is pointing at your square, DON'T click on your selected square. Instead, move on to another square.
This is a neat concept. I opted to go in with a plan rather than random clicking. Turns out if you follow the arrows, you will never have to worry about where already tapped arrows point. It’d be dicy if arrows pointed in multiple directions!
Interesting quiz, but the instructions might need clarifying. The top-left box points down, which I took to mean that the whole column below the top-left was being pointed to, but I hit sudden death about 5 boxes down. It seems like you're just looking for ADJACENT boxes being pointed to? Is that right?
But if that were the case (it pointing to the whole column) then every single box would be a correct answer, as they all have SOME arrow in their column or row pointing at them.
I really like the point of this quiz. The creator knows what's up. I left my doubts behind and didn't let the challenge get me down, and I got all of them right.
Twice I took this quiz and twice I missed exactly one square, both times having spent the last minute searching frantically for it and then pulling my hair out when the time ends and it appears, right there under my nose. This was nerve-wracking but an enjoyable challenge.
The first couple times I took the quiz, I hovered my mouse over every box, then looked at the boxes that were north, east, west, and south of that box, and clicked if any of those 4 squares had an arrow pointing to the target box. But both times, I reached the end of the quiz having missed 1 or 2, with only 20 or so seconds left, and was unable to go back and hunt down the ones I'd missed.
So on my 3rd try, I changed up my strategy, and simply hovered my mouse over box #1, then moved it in the direction that square's arrow was pointing, and clicked that box. Then I hovered over box #2 and did the same thing, then again with box #3, and so on through box #100. Using that method, I got all of them without missing any along the way, with about 45 seconds to spare.
Great quiz! Super creative! At the risk of sounding like a jerk... is this supposed to be difficult? I'm not sure exactly what the challenge is here. Might as well be "click the circles and don't click the squares" or something
Some people find it more difficult than others, so there's an initial hurdle for many (as seen by the comments above). The real challenge past that is how quickly you can do it :)
I couldn’t find the last one 😭 . I spent the last 2 and a half minutes looking through all of them 1 by 1 to try and find the last 4. Anybody else do this?
I found that it was far easier to 100% this quiz if, rather than focusing on whether there are any arrows pointing at the box you're focusing on, just simply look at your box, and go to the direction it's pointing, and click that box. I followed that all the way to the end. Whilst I did have to rush a bit to find a couple I'd missed, it was much easier than searching the outskirts of every box to see if there was a sneaky arrow pointing at it!
If no arrow is pointing to it, don’t click it.
If none of those 4 bordering squares contains an arrow that is pointing at your square, DON'T click on your selected square. Instead, move on to another square.
I had to make sure I understood the instructions before I started, then it was 100% fun. Well done.
Excellent use of the new format, Stewart
Really good puzzle though.
Unless it is possible to change the intro text without updating the quiz. I assume not, but maybe it ís?
