Nice one. Got confused at the end with three remaining. Eventually tried the second square on the bottom row because Espaňa! It was green so tried the rest of Spain and lost. Never occurred to me to look at the grey countries outside Europe d'oh.

Thanks! And yes, I figured I had to include them. Since, just because it is a map of Europe, doesn't mean they're not Countries ending in A!

I don't think there's another map where countries in grey are important for the quiz though? I think they should either be removed from the map or made yellow (or not counted but you seem to have already decided that option is the worst)

Yes, I will ungrey them. I believe having them as answers is correct (as they are visible and fit the bill), but yes you're right that having them grey is maybe confusing to some people.

surely it should only count the yellow countries? would have guessed the other continents ones but didn't as i didn't think they were being included!

I started with “starting with A” and luckily that didn’t kill me. Then I noticed like 14 left when I felt I was almost done. You might want to say in all caps in a caveat “Counting Non-European Countries!” Or something. That they’re greyed out I just assumed they didn’t count.

100% first try! Woohoo, definitely great progress in my Europe georgraphy.

Had one square remaining and got it on a guess based on deduction of the no-no squares. Syria was the country I couldn't think of. Thanks for the fun quiz Stewart :)

The tiny parts of Austria are really hard to see in the square containing Monaco, especially since zooming is impossible on these types of quizzes.
