Andorra la Vella is the capital city of the principality of Andorra, nestled in the Pyrenees mountain range between France and Spain. The name Andorra la Vella translates to "Andorra the town", to distinguish it from the country Andorra.

The pope (Francis, as of August 2023) lives in the Vatican Palace in Vatican City, the world's smallest sovereign state by both area and population.

Monaco's GDP per capita, as of 2021, is more than $234,000!

San Marino is a tiny microstate located in north-central Italy, 60 miles east of Florence (as the crow flies). However, a fun fact is that since the 60 miles between San Marino and Florence are mostly mountain, the quickest way to drive from Florence to San Marino is actually by going north around Bologna and then back southeast. This route takes around 2 1/2 hours, while going through the mountains adds a whole hour to the trip.

Malta is a tiny sovereign nation south of Italy, nearly 70 miles off the coast of Sicily and almost 200 miles east of Tunisia. Only 3 Maltese islands are inhabited (Malta, Gozo, and Comino).

The Monaco Grand Prix was last held in May 2023.

Malta is home to around 520,000 people, making it the most populated out of the 6 micronations listed.

Monaco is wedged between France and the Atlantic Ocean. However, Monaco is located extremely close to the French-Italian border, and you can see Italy from some parts of Monaco.

Vaduz is the capital city of Liechtenstein, although it is not the most populated city in Liechtenstein. That title goes to Schaan.
