I find the 7-borders question a little controversial. Jetpunk normally accepts possession of an area rather than a claim. Indian-administered Kashmir doesn't reach as far as Afghanistan, instead Pakistani-administered and Chinese-run Kashmir border each other. Is that not so? Could you not choose a less controversial example?
