Does Germany really have deserts? There is no Category:Deserts of Germany in Wikipedia, and I could not find anything German in Category:Deserts of Europe.
Interesting to find out about these places. However, I tried that link but there is no information on it, and the evidence I could find indicates that it is not a desert because it gets too much rain:
It confirms that the area, although titled "desert", is not; it gets too much rain.
Taiwan is not on that Wikipedia list of countries which have deserts; there are a bunch of sand dunes there - I think it should be off the list as well unless you can find some proof for it. Again, somebody locally has used the word desert in the name but that's not evidence of rainfall or anything.
Here is the link for it:
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Deserts_of_Germany
https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-history-of-the-Lieberose-Desert-in-Germany
This appears to be backed up by:
https://www.weather-atlas.com/en/germany/lieberose-climate
Which says that Lieberose gets 267mm of rain a year.
Still a cool thing to find out about, though.

I looked up Venezuela, though, and it is okay!
