I've always heard it as Cloud Gate, but I thought it was making fun of it as a public money debacle, like any other "-gate" scandal.

Missed the Michael Jordan question. Forced myself to click on the correct image for the flag, even though the first image looks SO much better, and feels like a good representation of Chicago!

While the first flag is indeed great I have to admit that Chicago's flag is one of the best flags out there, regardless of city, state, country, it's really good!

How is a flag depicting the sun over mountains a good representation of Chicago, which is famously dully flat?

I guessed wrong on the Chicagoland question because I believed that Peoria was part of the Chicago metropolitan statistical area, based on B.B. King's version of "It's My Own Fault": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9DoUHO-OVo. I now know that Peoria is further away than I thought.

The Sears Tower was completed in 1973, not 1974 and was the tallest building in the world in 1973: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_world%27s_tallest_buildings#List_of_historically_tallest_skyscrapers

I can also tell you, having lived here for 12 years, that the Tower itself definitely marks 1973 as the year it became the world's tallest building.
