Shavian Geography Puzzle Challenge

The Shavian alphabet was developed as an alternate writing system for English in the 20th century. It is mostly phonemic, which means each symbol represents exactly one sound: consonant, vowel, or diphthong (a combination of two vowels). There are also a handful of symbols that represent combinations of sounds; most of these are a vowel followed by -r. In this puzzle, you must decode 5 geographic place names written in Shavian script! Are you up for the challenge?
HOW IT WORKS:
PART 1: Guess the countries of the world that fit each given clue. When you guess a country, its Shavian spelling will be revealed.
PART 2: Use the Shavian spellings to deduce which sound each character represents. Then, use those sounds to decode the geographic places and features in the final column!
NOTE: Some of the characters in Part 2 do not appear in any of the country names from Part 1. There is enough information provided to complete the puzzle.
