Nice quiz, but perhaps consider a comment about Italy. Though initially an Axis power, it flipped sides in the middle of the war and joined the Allies. Perhaps something along the lines "Click on all the countries that were part of the allies in World War II when they initially joined the war."

I mean… they didn’t really flip sides in the middle. They were invaded by the Allies and surrendered, more or less, and the people got rid of Mussolini. I think any historian would immediately label Italy as an Axis power.

I hear you, but there was at least a moment of WWII where Italy was an ally. It's an imperfect wording of the question with Italy as an option at the end of the day.

No, RhymingCouplet is correct, Italy didn't surrender, it did absolutely switch sides and was promptly invaded and occupied by Germany.

Unless you're using a very tight legalistic definition, Italy, Romania and Finland all fought with the Allies in the latter stages of WW2.

Needs to be a more definitive description of what you are asking for here. Several countries were on either side, depending on the year in question.

Needs a caveat about countries that changed sides during the war. When Romania and Italy were some of the last remaining, I wasn't quite sure what to do.
