Complete the Title
The source I used for more recent years started drying up (listing fewer and fewer films) beginning in 1986, until I was ultimately forced to find a new source for 1982.
The filtering and sorting options for my new source are not terribly intuitive, and although I requested a sort by US box office, I don’t think they were actually sorted that way. In any case, I tried my request a second time and selected an additional sort option that completely changed the sort order. Although the new sort order disagrees with my 1983-2023 source, I think it is closer to being sorted correctly. (It’s impossible to be certain because the dollar amount of box office receipts doesn’t actually display.)
In any case, I have updated this quiz with a selection of films chosen using the new sort order. Perhaps the update will be more to your liking.
