Maybe put the self-promotion and constructive criticism bit in a pinned comment? It is not meant to be in the description as it doesn't "describe" the quiz.

It is not unusual for quiz authors to include extraneous information in the quiz instruction field, including links to other quizzes they have written. I was unaware that there were strict rules for what could be included. Perhaps you can provide a link to them?

I currently have no plans to update more than 800 quizzes to remove the text that seems to offend you. Nor do I have plans to try to remember to go back and add a pinned comment to every quiz I publish, as most of my quizzes are scheduled for publication in advance, and comments cannot be added until after publication.

Does destroyed work as well as damaged given the definition?

I don’t believe so.

Something that has been destroyed is certainly damaged, but not everything that is damaged has necessarily been destroyed.

“Destroyed” means “A condition of a target so damaged that it can neither function as intended nor be restored to a usable condition.” I don’t think this word accurately describes, for example, an automobile with key scratches on the door.
