Nor do I have plans to try to remember to go back and add a pinned comment to every quiz I publish, as most of my quizzes are scheduled for publication in advance, and comments cannot be added until after publication.
Something that has been destroyed is certainly damaged, but not everything that is damaged has necessarily been destroyed.
“Destroyed” means “A condition of a target so damaged that it can neither function as intended nor be restored to a usable condition.” I don’t think this word accurately describes, for example, an automobile with key scratches on the door.
