Scrambled Words Ending in “W”

How many of these words that end in “w” can you unscramble in the time allotted?

Distribution of word lengths is as follows. 5-letter words: 7 6-letter words: 7 7-letter words: 7 8-letter words: 6 9-letter words: 6 10-letter words: 3 There is a surprisingly large number of 10-letter words that end in “w,” but most of them are so obscure (e,g., “overmorrow”) I couldn’t bring myself to include them. Instead, I have added one additional 5-, 6-, and 7-letter word to this quiz. To balance out the fact that shorter words are more prevalent, I have reduced the timer from the customary 20 minutes to 17 minutes.

As is usual, the first letter of each word is capitalized in the scrambled version to make the quiz a bit easier, and the words are alphabetized.

Note: If you think you don’t see an uppercase letter in a scrambled word, look again: what appears to be a lowercase “L” is probably an uppercase “I.”
