*First line is the group name. 1968. This song was first recorded by Eddie Cochran in 1958. Ten years later this colorfully named group released their cover of the song. This is considered by many to be the first hard rock song. Rolling Stone listed this as #73 of their 100 Greatest Guitar Songs.
