*First line is the band name. 1960. This song was based on a cartoon strip and reached #1. The band was a short-lived studio band. The band name came from a street the studio was located on. The band leader and singer couldn't put his name on the record because he was under contract to another label. Apparently all the $25 session musician were drunk on cider during the recording. When the song took oft and everyone wanted to book the group, there was no group since the musicians had been booked just for the recording.
