In this version, this was actually a medley with an original arrangement of a Little Richard song. This artist was from Hamtramck, Michigan just 5 miles north of downtown Detroit. It's an area that was known as a center for Polish Americans in the 20th century. He was only 21 when this song was a hit. HIs band was called the Detroit Wheels.
