*First line is the band name. 1967. This was the 2nd #1 song for this American, sunshine pop band from LA. Larry Ramos sung lead vocals. He had been a member of the New Christy Minstrels. The songwriter, Ruthann Friedman, wrote this song in her apartment in David Crosby's house.
