*First line is the band name. 1965. This garage rock band formed in Los Angeles, was considered punk rock. Their lead singer had been a Mouseketeer in 1955 at age 9. This was their biggest hit. This song is a mock ode to Boston and it's polluted harbor. They also make reference to the Boston Strangler who was arrested the previous year.
