Guess the 1960s song lyrics #346

*First line is the band name. 1965. This song was written by Sylvia Fricker of Ian and Sylvia. The most popular version was by this San Francisco based folk band. The song was written in a bathtub in a suite at the Hotel Earle in Greenwich Village. Fricker wrote it—her first composition—in the bathroom because "it was the only place ... the cockroaches would not go". Not bad for her first composition.
