*First line is the name of the band. 1965. Classic rock song. Song was written by a member of the Crickets. The song evokes the rebellious spirit of rock and roll. This is actually a cover verstion performed by a band of four from El Paso.Just six months after this song made the Billboard Top 100, the band leader was found dead at 23 in his mom's car in an LA parking lot. The cause of his death is still a mystery.
