*First line is the band name. 1976. This band was formed in Woodstock, New York, although their one word name makes it sound like they are from Louisiana. One of the band members later got himself elected to Congress. He and his then-wife wrote this song. The lyrics were written due to a dearth of songs about long term staying together. Ironically, the husband-wife team that wrote the song ended up divorcing. This song became a promo song for countless things including tv stations.
