I have to say, this quiz was really frustrating because it got a fundamental fact completely wrong. Claiming that “Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)” isn’t a Doors song is misleading at best. Yes, it’s originally a Brecht/Weill composition, but The Doors recorded their own version on Morrison Hotel, and it’s widely recognized as part of their repertoire. Quizzes like this matter because they shape how people perceive music history, and spreading inaccuracies like this is not helpful for fans or newcomers trying to learn about the band. Accuracy should be a minimum standard, especially when dealing with iconic bands like The Doors. It makes me question the reliability of the rest of the quiz, because if they can get something so obvious wrong, who knows what other errors are lurking in there. A little more research would have gone a long way. Music quizzes are fun, but only if they respect the facts.
