Every NHL Team Ever

Every team that is in the NHL right now and all defunct and relocated teams. For the year that a relocated team started, I included the year that the team began in that city. For example, the Carolina Hurricanes are listed as starting in 1997 because that's when they were relocated there, even though they existed as the Hartford Whalers before that. Likewise, the Whalers would be listed as having ended in 1997, even though they still exist today as the Hurricanes.
