The Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Test

While many have used the name 'Carl' for the cupcake, including Scott, the movie canonizes the name 'Mr. Cupcake'.

Sparky the Dog was created by Tumbler users Kodiabear and Nguyen. The character has even made a cameo in the Five Nights at Freddy's Movie.

On August 8, 2014, Five Night's at Freddys release via Desura. On August 20, 2014, the game was greenlit for Steam.

When Scott showed off Night 5 on his YouTube, there is a life meter on the screen that isnt used in the game.

In the Night 5 phone call, you hear a weird garble on noises that sounds like a voice. If you mess with the audio, you can hear someone reciting parts of "Autobiography of a Yogi".

There are five main nights, a bonus sixth night, and a custom night, making seven total nights.

As seen on things like the Crowdfunding campaign, Freddy's name was originally Freddybear, a play on the word teddy bear.

Scott's previous games were not successes. He was at the point of giving up on game development when the backlash for Chipper and Son's gave him an idea. If people think the characters are scary, then why not make a scary game?

Golden Freddy's used to be referred to as Yellow bear. One of the first instances of him being called Golden Freddy was when Markiplier first incountered him.

Scott said that one night he dreamt that Bonnie was in the hall outside of his bedroom, causing Scott to jump from his bed and rushed to hold the door shut. After finding that the door was locked, he believed that Bonnie was about to attack (as the doors do not work when Bonnie or Chica are in the office).

Chipper and Son's Lumber Co. is the reason FNaF exists today. Many gave backlash on the game, stating that the characters were scary and looked like animatronics. With this in mind, Scott would then go on to start development on Five Nights at Freddy's.

Scott was doing some modeling work on Foxy whileon a bumpy car trip. He later stared that he feels this is why Foxy ended up broken in appearance.

The cameras are the Show Stage, Dining Area, Pirate Cove, West Hall/West Hall Corner, Supply Closet, East Hall/East Hall Corner, Backstage, Kitchen and Restrooms.

Scott has explained before that the reason Bonnie has a purplish color is because of the lighting for the first game. Since then, every appearance that FNaF 1 Bonnie has had (VR, AR, Movie), he is blue

Scott has stated in a post that Bonnie doesn't abide by the rules of time, space, or physics.

Cam 6 is the kitchen camera. While we do not know the in-game reason for why the camera is disabled, Scott has said that it was an attempt to make audio a bigger role in the game.

Not many people were playing the game at this time, except for one. He didn't just have the demo, he had the full game. That person being Ben The Scoopist.

While many like Markiplier and Jack popularized the game, was the first person to make a series on FNaF.

Scott had set up the campaign to receive economic support for the making of FNaF, but did not raise any money.
