Did you know that the picture of the Fertile Crescent says "Fertile Crescent" on it?

I was going without a problem through all of them. And then I reached the last one... I knew she was a beauty model back then, but I've never seen a picture of her.

Snap. Although the "Roman......" threw me for a while. Embarrassingly, I walked round it 10 days ago, but could I remember its name.

Does anyone know what the 'G' in the 12th symbol stands for?

Wiki says: "The letter has multiple meanings, representing different words depending on the context in which it is discussed. The most common is that the "G" stands for God, and is to remind Masons that God is at the center of Freemasonry. In this context it can also stand for Great Architect of the Universe (a non-denominational reference to God). In a different context, the letter stands for Geometry, described as being the "noblest of sciences", and "the basis upon which the superstructure of Freemasonry is erected."

"leader"?

It's an everyday German word for "leader", begins with F, always capitalized like all German nouns. Take a guess.

Surely more scepticism about applying the term "leader" to man dying in a coach with his wife. He led nothing.

What a ridiculous statement. I will never understand the obsession people have with denigrating the man ad absurdum, it does nothing but give ammunition to his supporters. Same thing happens with a certain modern American politician - the more ridiculous insults become, the less seriously real criticism will be taken and it allows certain ideas to thrive.

I like the quiz. My only comment would be that I got Anne Frank simply by typing in Franklin for Benjamin. I would suggest someone different than Anne Frank or Benjamin Franklin.

Ideology threw me. I didn't recognize the man in the photo and I was trying to think of an ideologue whose name began with an F.

There have been countless tragedies and horrific injustices throughout the centuries, but for some reason, I always find a particularly acute sadness when it comes to Anne Frank.

"...Shortly before going into hiding, Anne gave her friend and neighbour Toosje Kupers a book, a tea set, a tin of marbles, and the family cat for safekeeping. 'I'm worried about my marbles, because I'm scared they might fall into the wrong hands,' Anne told Kupers. 'Could you keep them for me for a little while?' "

She was worried about her marbles. That just kills me.

Juuuust in case, Franklin was never President. Also just in case, yeah wouldn't it be nice to have good choices again?

Franz Ferdinand was not a leader. He would have become the Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary had he lived two years longer but he didn't.
