Glottolog does not consider Central Solomons to be a valid language family.

Could you allow “Niger-Congo” instead of “Atlantic-Congo”?

I'm split on this. For one, Atlantic-Congo and Niger-Congo are not the same. Niger-Congo includes many more families in addition to Atlantic-Congo, and is also not listed in Glottolog. On the other hand, they are pretty similar in terms of their scope.

I'm leaning towards not accepting "Niger-Congo" because again, it is not a family listed by Glottolog. I may add another caveat specifying this, but I'm not sure.

I see what you mean. I need to update this quiz soon anyway, as I'm pretty sure Glottolog added another family to their database, and I think the Wintuan languages have gone extinct.
