Still, Wikipedia had put down the same ticket for the Whigs and Know Nothings on their pages for the 1856 election. If they put down a ticket for the Whigs in 1856, why not put them down here. They are basically supported by what's left of the Whigs before the party before they decide to finally throw in the towel for presidential elections. That last convention was more symbolic and they just decided to endorse the Know Nothing candidate. But still good to still include them as a more symbolic national convention after the party collapsed is still a convention where a candidate is picked even when the candidate largely runs as another party
