The link you used as your source lists many stadiums in the US. Did you exclude those because they're primarily used for American Football?

Yes, and I'll tell you why. Stadiums like the MetLife and others are literally not football(soccer) stadiums, but American football fields instead, they even have turf instead of grass, but have been used sometimes for football competitions like the Copa America and they will in the upcoming world cup as well. But at the end of the day they are primarily not football fields. Do you think I should clarify it, though? Because the link is a bit misleading to be honest

I thought it was odd that the data didn't exactly correspond, but was able to conclude that that was more or less why.

I supposed it wouldn't hurt to say something like "According to Wikipedia, with American football stadiums removed" or "Data filtered from Wikipedia" or something. But I don't think it really matters that much. If someone else is wondering, they can come to the comments and read your comment here.
