You triggered the residents of Nassau County and Suffolk County with the second hint. There are more than 2500000 of them.

The first sentence is so terrible that I knew the state's largest, second largest, and fourth largest cities, which are all more populous than the entirety of Kossuth county, and had never heard of the county or its settlements. Even more terrible, none of the four universities in the NCAA men's basketball Division I are in the county. Therefore, it is a sentence that is so terrible that you must NOT replace it in this quiz.
