Fun. I don’t think it’s accurate to label Hutus as ethnic extremists, though. You pointed out in the question that moderate Hutus were also killed by the militias that carried out the genocide. Hutu is just an ethnicity, which exists in more places than just Rwanda. The Interhamwe was an extremist Hutu power group, and labelling them as ethnic extremists would be accurate.
