Maybe you should call it "countries that invaded South Korea ". It is strange to consider as an invasor a state that is part of the region.

It is like saying that roman republic invaded Italy or the Thirteen Colonies invaded North America

Korea is a very unique case. Historically, Korea has been a single country for over a thousand years. But it was divided very recently and now there are two Korea"s". And each Korea is considered a sovereign state, not just a part of Korea. Therefore, "(North) Korea invaded (South) Korea" doesn't sound strange to me.
