After destroying the Moebius data cores on Tyrador VIII to prevent the Zerg from knowing the locations of the last two pieces, Raynor travels to Typhon XI to get the fourth fragment. However the star the planet orbited begins to turn into this right as he arrives

However, the planet is corrupted by the influence of this Protoss-Zerg Hybrid and the Dark Templar must fight his way to the now imprisoned Protoss scholars
