Can you name all the municipalities within the country of Georgia?
All info was taken from OpenStreetMap. This quiz is only meant for educational purposes.
Disputed territores Abkhazia and South Ossetia have been included.
Great quiz, some mistakes tho. It's Chkhorotsku not Chkhorotsyu and Tigvi/Tighva and not Yornisi. Additionally, including Tkvarcheli is a mistake and you missed Ajara in Abkhazia (Different from Adjara(აჟარა in georgian)).
Thank you for your comment, I will indeed change Chkhorotsyu to accept Chkhorotsku also, it's a mistake I made, because I transliterate the georgian "ყ" to y, but it should accept k too. For the rest, I used the wikipedia page for every municipality, and with Samchoblo (South Ossetia) I also used those, instead of the Shida Kartli page. The Abkhazian Tkvarcheli and Ajara mix-up is due to OpenStreetMap drawing the borders, and according to them (and also the Abkhazia wikipedia page), Tkvarcheli is a real municipality. Thank you for playing though, always nice to see :)
Thank you for your reply! Using OpenStreetMap instead of valid municipalities of Georgia (via wikipedia) was also a mistake if you ask me. If you are using De facto markings then "South Ossetia" should be separate and it's municipalities should not be in Shida Kartli. You are mixing two conflicting worlds and if you had to use one, use more right one recognized by majority of modern world (i.e. Georgian). Also, georgian "ყ" in english is "k", that's why it should also be kvareli and not yvareli, so that's why you need to change it to "k". I assume you are Georgian?
Thanks once again for your reply mishiko! You assume correctly, I am actually partly Georgian and partly Russian. I indeed tried to go with the most recognised (Georgian) subdivisions, but it would have been extremely difficult to change the outline of the map with OpenStreetMap, or to draw one myself because of my inexperience with the software, and making svg maps. I am aware of the several administrative mistakes, the names however, are all marked correctly if you typed 'k' instead of 'y', so I see no real issue, except for the look I suppose, but that is subjective. I have indeed mixed different things together, but all together, the only things were that I added Tyvarcheli instead of Aj(zh)ara, and added Yornisi and Kvaisi in South Ossetia. (Also, I put Akhalgori with Shida Kartli, but I know officially it is part of Mtskheta-Mtianeti)

Okay, that makes sense as I too wanted to make this quiz with new official municipalities and couldn't because svg's and jetpunk are painfully hard. One friendly note tho as a Georgian to Georgian. Why I even commented in the first place is because using de facto names and their administrative borders only normalizes them and undermines territorial integrity of Georgia. Yes it may seem small and unimportant as it is only a jetpunk quiz, but when some foreigner who is not too educated in this matter stumbles across this quiz this is how it is going to be embedded in their mind.
P.S. only other thing I can also recommend is for other quizzes instead of "regions of kakheti" use "municipalities of kakheti" there are only 12 regions in Georgia and those regions do not have more regions inside them. Other than that, keep up the good work and thank you for making more quizzes about Georgia!
Yes, thank you for your comments, I understand your worry, and even though I agree with you, due to my lack of a lot of free time and experience with the software, I will leave the technical things unchanged for now. I also used region as a term for subgroups, but I guess I could change the names into Municipalities of X. Thank you for your comment, if you want to you can suggest what the next quiz I should make is, I was thinking neighbourhoods of Tbilisi, but after that I am a bit lost (mostly because I don't want to make another villages in X municipality quiz cause that takes a ton of time).
Yea I understand the last part, I am also working on some quizzes in my spare time including ALL villages/cities of Georgia per municipality together in one quiz (it is a nightmare), you can maybe choose some landmarks, famous people like presidents, footballers or even major rivers or mountains for example, any famous geographical landmark would work

Region -> Municipality -> Administrative unit
