Books of the Syriac bible (Peshitta)

The Syriac Bible, known as the Peshitta, is used by the Syriac Orthodox Church and the Assyrian Church of the East. It contains the Hebrew Old Testament and a New Testament canon of 22 books—excluding some epistles and Revelation. Over time, some missing books have been accepted liturgically, though not canonically.
Both syrian churches, despite being different, share the Peshitta.
