Maryland and Delaware are both in the South. Maryland and Delaware are both historically and geographically in the South. Part of the Southern border is the Mason-Dixon line which is why they are in the South
Yeah this is what the Government defines as the Southern States. I still believe that Maryland and Delaware are Southern it is just that border states are a little different
i know this is based on established political boundaries so dont take this comment seriously, but americans need to learn what "south" means cause as a european i would have never thought kentucky, maryland, virginia, delaware and west virginia were south. and i was really confused on the lack of arizona, new mexico and california
