I am not familiar with your source but would suggest that is incorrect to omit London, which has a population of around 8.5 to 9 million.

Also could you please accept the following spellings: Kolkata, Chennai, Nagoya, Ahmedabad, Dar es Salaam, Pune, Harbin and Jeddah.
