Just to clarify, I've used the borders as per the Clear the borders off the world map quiz. Regarding dubious borders and those on islands off the mainland, this means:

- Spain - Morocco is included

- Spain - UK is excluded

- France - Netherlands is excluded

- Denmark - Canada is excluded

- India - Sri Lanka is excluded

Interesting quiz!

Not that it makes much of a difference, but you can't guess Nigeria, the Domenican Republic or Guinea-Bissau with the first guess.

I've tried peru probably 50 times now. Got peru 0 times, Chile 3ish, Bolivia 2ish and Columbia once.

Due to the way this is set up its not possible to have all countries as the mystery country at the same time. It might be that Peru is not a possible mystery country in this set :)

I do swap them out every once in a while

Also it seems the quiz memorizes the last unanswered country. So if narrowed down enough, it's pretty to guess it at the next round.

Kazakhstan (the mystery country) was my fourth guess. Russia was my first Finland was my second and China was my third.

Every time I type my first answer, and it's the mystery country, it's always Russia. Russia is the first country that comes to my mind because it borders a lot of countries like China.

It can be featured, it just can't be nominated. So it needs to attract QMs attention in a different way, and then he needs to like it enough to actually feature it. It's a harder path for sure, but it can happen

A bit more than a handful but you're correct, there are 65 possible mystery countries. Due to the way it's set up each mystery country requires 152 answers, so I can't add more than 65 within the 10,000 answer limit
